Position Summary

The purpose of the role is to work directly with our clients to help them:

  • Better understand the results of their digital marketing.

  • Identify areas where they can improve.

  • Work with their teams to identify hypotheses that can be tested.

  • Design and undertake controlled experiments to test these hypotheses.

Working as part of the consulting team you will play a key role in delivering the full analysis cycle. This includes the preparation of proposals, extracting, analysing and reporting on data from a range of diverse sources (such as Google Analytics, customer databases, campaign data, social media) and presenting the results to our clients.

This position reports to the General Manager

The Role

You will use your exceptional skills to:

  • Analyse campaign results and provide recommendations to our clients.

  • Use data to generate meaningful and actionable insights.

  • Develop and assess attribution models that our customers can use to make informed decisions.

  • Produce compelling reports that include the analysis of marketing and behavioural data.

  • Deliver presentations to clients to show the results of the analyses.

  • Design and implement experiments to test the results of proposed recommendations.

  • Work with others on the Panalysis team to extract data, prepare reports and meet client requirements.

Skills

  • Advanced skills in the use of Google Analytics to extract data and assess campaign performance.

  • Advanced skills in the use of data from campaign platforms such as Facebook, Doubleclick and others to assess campaign performance.

  • Ability to implement effective campaign tracking tags in Google Analytics and other platforms.

  • Ability to create and test attribution models.

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Skills in the use of the Microsoft Office and Google Apps platforms.

Competencies

  • Excellent numeracy skills and a sound understanding in the application of statistical techniques such as regression models.

  • Have a deep understanding of, and substantial experience with, digital marketing campaign measurement.

  • Have a proven ability to analyse data and to turn this into insights and actionable recommendations.

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication.

  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

  • Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to our clients.

  • Be able to meet and exceed agreed performance targets.

Other Essential Criteria

  1. Have at least 3 years relevant commercial experience in a substantially similar role.

  2. Have a tertiary degree in a relevant field such as marketing.

  3. Be an Australian resident or citizen or have a visa allowing you to work in Australia

Desirable Criteria

  1. Hold current certification/s with Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends or a similar product.

  2. SQL and data manipulation skills.

  3. Experience with the Python, R language, SAS, SPSS, Tableau or other statistical tools.

Remuneration

An attractive package will be negotiated based on experience including performance based bonuses and opportunity for additional training
