Senior Digital Analytics Consultant

Panalysis is an internationally respected analytics consultancy. Founded in 2001, we provide services to high-profile clients from the telecommunications, e-commerce, automotive, insurance, education, government, and non-profit sectors. We were also Australia’s first Authorised Google Analytics Consultant and are proud of our work in this area, both here and overseas.  

We provide strategic measurement and insights for our clients to improve their online performance. Our clients understand that data and effective analytical processes are important factors in achieving their goals. We’re now searching for a Senior Analytics Consultant to join our close-knit team of experts who live and breathe analytics.  

The Role 

You’ll be tasked with ensuring that our clients are collecting the data that they need for their Google Analytics (and other digital services), and providing them with high-quality, robust digital analytics solutions and support for these products. 

This broad and varied role will see you work within our client-facing consulting team. A typical day could involve any of the following:  

  • Analyse, design, and implement tracking solutions on websites to accurately capture business analytics, from page events to e-commerce transactions. 
  • Provide enterprise-class support for the Google Analytics 360 suite. 
  • Be an expert implementer of Google Analytics, and also use tag management solutions such as GTM, Tealium, and other tag management tools. 
  • Develop reports and dashboards in Google DataStudio, PowerBI, or other platforms and presenting them to client teams.  
  • Developing support and training materials to help our client teams use Google Analytics effectively. 
  • Design test plans and thoroughly QA tracking implementations by using a variety of browser debugging tools. 

 

There is plenty of room to develop and to hone your skills in this broad consulting role, whilst being an integral part of our consulting team. You’ll need to enjoy sharing your knowledge and mentoring others, as we thrive in an environment where we help each other to grow.  

What you’ll need:  

  • Several years commercial experience in an Analytics-focused role (Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics).   
  • Expert knowledge and experience implementing tag management tools (such as Google Tag Manager).  
  • Business Analysis skills, with demonstrated ability to scope and document requirements.  
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and have proven skills in troubleshooting and creative problem-solving. 
  • Proven experience supporting external or internal stakeholders (in a consulting or client-side role). 
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management. 

 

In addition, the following are highly desirable but not essential:  

  • Experience with other Google Marketing Platform products (such as Google Optimize, Campaign Manager, Display and Video 360, and Search Ads 360).  
  • Programming skills (NodeJS, Python or R are specifically most interesting to us). 
  • SQL skills.  
  • Experience with Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).
